Nice, Simple secluded resort Jan 2008 - Anonymous, Washington DC This was a decent little place for the price and the rooms were clean and sufficient and the staff tried to do a good job. Very young inexperienced staff who were friendly and very accommodating. No TV but the room had DVD and they provide modern movies. The resort at this writing has no land line and thus no way to take credit cards so bring plenty of cash. The location is an hour's drive from the dock where you land one the island and this is through bumpy back roads little villages. But this was part of the fun actually. Very nice location with amazing diving and a good quality dive center (at this writing). I had some wonderful dives within a 20 minute boat ride of the resort. The surrounding countryside of this island is worth the trip alone. See the Tarsier monkey, the river cruise, and the Chocolate hills while you are there.
