15 minute stay with late Night Hotel Swop

On arrival at around 22:30 we were allocated a room it was very small and not suitable for 2 adults and 2 small children.Only 2 beds in a 3mX2.5m room. Bath room is very small with rust holes in bath and tiles coming of the walls.We only stayed for 15 minutes and checked out again. Luckily we managed to secure accomidation in a hotel that we stayed in before.

We stayed here for a transit stop from London to Brisbane when we flew back using Singapore Airlines .

The hotels is fully air conditioned , which is a great relief from the Singaporean humidity. It is only 10 minutes walk from Kalliang MRT railway station and has a 7- 11 grocery store opposite if you need some essentials or a quick snack.

Although on a main road there was no no traffic noise in room. The bed was comfortable and it had a small bathroom and shower that worked just fine . However , the room lacked a refrigerator.

We got a great price at the last minute with quick and easy booking through www.cheaperthanhotels.com which saved us money and incovenience. It represented far better value than compared to booking one of the many hotels offered at Changi Airport, which we double checked on the way through as we had only paid a deposit with Cheaperthanhotels.

To get to the hotels it only took 40 minutes from Changi Airport to Kalliang MRT and cost less than S$3 for the one way journey. Given the transfer times to local hotels of around 30 mins, there is no real advantage of being closer to the airport for the price.

Highly recommend the hotel and this booking site.
