Getting there / transfers

By Train (MRT) - Operates from 6am to 12am daily : Board the train at Changi Airport Station (CG2 -Terminal 2) and alight at Kallang MRT Station (EW10). The train journey takes about 20 mins and costs S$1.50 per person. The hotel is about 10 mins by walk from the train station. By Taxi : The journey is about 20 mins and costs about S$15 per trip (Excluding midnight surcharge from 12 to 6am).

Exceptional value

We stayed here for a transit stop from London to Brisbane when we flew back using Singapore Airlines .

The hotels is fully air conditioned , which is a great relief from the Singaporean humidity. It is only 10 minutes walk from Kalliang MRT railway station and has a 7- 11 grocery store opposite if you need some essentials or a quick snack.

Although on a main road there was no no traffic noise in room. The bed was comfortable and it had a small bathroom and shower that worked just fine . However , the room lacked a refrigerator.

We got a great price at the last minute with quick and easy booking through www.cheaperthanhotels.com which saved us money and incovenience. It represented far better value than compared to booking one of the many hotels offered at Changi Airport, which we double checked on the way through as we had only paid a deposit with Cheaperthanhotels.

To get to the hotels it only took 40 minutes from Changi Airport to Kalliang MRT and cost less than S$3 for the one way journey. Given the transfer times to local hotels of around 30 mins, there is no real advantage of being closer to the airport for the price.

Highly recommend the hotel and this booking site.
