Boston in Review
Boston, the capital and largest city of the US state of Massachusetts, is one of America’s oldest and most interesting cities where you will step on history no matter where you set foot. Learn more about the US Civil War, revive the Boston Tea Party and visit the local landmarks along the Freedom Trail to get a feel of what life was like in the early years of the United States.
Multiple museums will feed your hunger for art and culture. If you only have time to pick a few, visit the Institute for Contemporary Art, the Boston Museum of Science with over 600 exhibits and the J.F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to get and insight in this past president’s life and period in the White House.
The historic town of Cambridge, home to Harvard University, has a great atmosphere, always buzzing with young people and full of shops, cafes, eateries and picturesque places where you can just sit back and relax. Try to catch a Red Sox game in the famous baseball pitch of Fenway Park, visit China town and the beautiful Old North Church and sample gourmet food in one of Boston’s excellent restaurants. Boston beautifully combines culture and leisure and is an excellent walking city, with many of its colourful ethnic neighbourhoods still intact.
